Aaron and I decided back in June that we would love to possibly build a pool and outdoor living area in our backyard to be able to enjoy it with the kids and make tons of memories as they grow.
It took us from June-Septmeber to finally come up with a company we liked, a design we thought would be suitable for us and get all the paperwork and permits in place. On September 30th, we broke ground.
Our pool was completed right before Thanksgiving of 2011 and just now have we been able to get the boys in the hot tub to do some swimming since the pool is still in the cool 70's. But with Heston swimming like a little fish and Webb about to start his second year of Survival Swim, they understand that they do not get in th water without Aaron or I outside.
They have had so much fun the past few weeks playing in the water and watching the dogs swim and chase the ball. This is the start of what is going to be an amazing summer! I love my little family and so many great memories soon to be made.
